Zero Matters is here!

Message Matters, the multi-award winning PR, political relations and campaigns agency, today marks its 10th year of trading by launching a new consultancy brand – Zero Matters.

Zero Matters is Scotland’s one-stop-shop Net Zero consultancy, helping organisations plan, deliver and communicate their transition to Net Zero. It works with organisations of all sizes, from all sectors, at all stages of their Net Zero and ESG journey, using its in-house expertise and managing a range of specialist delivery partners on their behalf.

Message Matters, founded in 2012 by Peter Duncan and Andy Maciver, has hired Matt Lancashire as Zero Matters’ Director. Matt is former SCDI Deputy CEO and Zero Waste Scotland Business Development Director.

Commenting, Matt Lancashire said:

“The long-term growth and financial sustainability of all organisations, in particular SMEs and charities, is dependent on their ability to transition to Net Zero.

“We know that this is at the forefront of the thoughts of many businesses and charities. However, we also know that turning those thoughts into actions is easier said than done.

“Most organisations simply do not have the capacity or expertise to focus on this, particularly given the day-to-day challenges of running an organisation in the Covid era.

“Zero Matters is here to take the pain away.”

Peter Duncan and Andy Maciver said:

“We know from our conversations with Scottish SMEs and charities that they want to achieve net zero, both to play their part in fighting climate change, and to create the conditions for sustainability profitability in the future.

“Ten years ago, we started Message Matters because we thought Scottish SMEs and charities needed a communications agency which offered them senior level support and genuine added value.

“Today, we open Zero Matters for exactly the same reason.”
